Client: Over the Top / Brut
Description: This was the first project I did for Ed Angel, who had a production studio in Los Colinas, near Dallas. He did TV commercials & movies. Probably the best man I ever worked with.
They cut zigzags in the back of the wooden panels with a router until you could almost push it through with your hand. Then they ducted taped ' Fuller's Dust' & glitter in several places in back, so when the trucks busted through it made a sparkly dust explosion. They busted three... the first time the truck through and hit the ground he veered right for the camera man, barely missing him before gaining control. The next two takes were made from a much more distant camera.
